Vintage Aynsley PEMBROKE Tea Tray Strawberry Basket W Sugar & Creamer Set
Tray Size: 11.75" x 10" x 4"
Cream Size: 3.75" x 2.5" x 2.375"
Sugar Size 3.75" x 2.5" x 2.125"
For your consideration is a lovely vintage Aynsley Strawberry/Fruit tray with creamer and sugar in their lovely Pembroke pattern. Gold leafed rims. Scalloped sides.
Excellent unused condition, creamer and sugar bowl still have original Aynsley stickers. Each sticker has a unique number. Not exactly sure what that number refers to - maybe a limited run or perhaps the model number of the piece?
Basket appears oval as it long on the interior, but the complete basket itself with the sugar and cream holders is actually more rounded as evidenced by the measurements. On bottom of basket in gold leaf is written "Pembroke. Reproduction of an 18th Century Aynsley Design."
Virtually mint condition with the exception of a tiny chip on the reinforced bottom foot (see pics) which is not seen and has no bearing on the integrity of the piece. A really nice hard to find bone china serving piece that also happens to be an excellent conversation starter. From an estate in the St. Louis area.
