Vintage Aynsley Cabbage Rose Bone China Tea Cup Black Border on White ca. 1934

This vintage Aynsley bone china tea cup and saucer feature a large pink rose on a white cup with a black interior border. The rose is nestled inside the bottom of the cup and shown again on both front and back. The cup has a gold footed design and gold decorated fancy handle. The saucer has a swirled form with a white center and wide black border. Both cup and saucer have softly scalloped rims and gold trim. There is light wear on the saucer's black border. Otherwise the set is in very good condition, free of chips, cracks, repairs and crazing. The cup measures 2 3/4" high to the top of the handle x 3 5/8" wide and holds 5 ounces. The saucer is 5 1/2" in diameter. Marked Aynsley England Bone China and dates to circa 1934.
